BMKG Warns Heavy Rain Could Cause Flooding in Indonesia: Areas at Risk Listed

Jakarta, tvOnenews.com – Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) RI estimates Water Heavy rain could flood most areas in Indonesia on Tuesday.

Based on early weather warnings published on the BMKG website, as checked in Jakarta, on Tuesday morning, heavy rain is expected to occur in 29 areas, namely Aceh, North Sumatra, West Sumatra , Riau, Bengkulu, Jambi, South Sumatra, Bangka Belitung, Lampung, and Banten.

Next are West Java, DKI Jakarta, Central Java, DI Yogyakarta, East Java, Bali, West Nusa Tenggara, East Nusa Tenggara, West Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan and East Kalimantan.

In addition, there are also the provinces of South Kalimantan, North Sulawesi, Central Sulawesi, South Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, Maluku, West Papua and Papua.

Next, BMKG also warned the public to be aware of the possibility of strong winds occurring in the provinces of Aceh, South Sumatra, West Java, DI Yogyakarta, East Java, East Nusa Tenggara, South Kalimantan and Maluku.
