BMKG sounds danger alarm, residents are advised to be vigilant, this is the area

GenPI.co – The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) issued a warning to all residents about the weather.

BMKG forecasts heavy rains that can be accompanied by lightning/lightning and strong winds to flush most of Indonesia.

Based on the official BMKG.go.id website, Sunday (16/2/2022), heavy rain accompanied by lightning/lightning and strong winds has the opportunity to flush the provinces of Aceh, West Sumatra, Riau, Riau Islands, Bengkulu, Jambi, South Sumatra, Bangka Belitung Islands, Lampung, Banten, Central Java, Yogyakarta, and West Java.

Then, the provinces of East Java, Bali, West Nusa Tenggara, East Nusa Tenggara, West Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, North Kalimantan, East Kalimantan, North Sulawesi, Gorontalo, Central Sulawesi, South Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, North Maluku, West Papua, and Papuans.

In addition, rain which can be accompanied by lightning/lightning and strong winds has the potential to occur in the region DKI Jakarta Province, South Kalimantan, and Maluku.

Meanwhile, West Sulawesi Province has the potential to face strong winds.

BMKG also warned of the emergence of high waves in the territorial waters Indonesia.

The waves with a height of four to six meters are predicted to approach the waters of the Indian Ocean south of East Nusa Tenggara.
