Meteorology Climatology and Geophysics Council (BMKG) predict rain thick will descend in a number of areas in Jakarta, Bogor, and Depok around 19.00 Monday (21/9) evening.
Head of Katulampa Dam, Bogor Regency, Andi Sudirman, said that until 18.15 WIB, the rain had resulted in the water level in Katulampa Dam on standby status with a height of 250 centimeters.
“Yes at 18.15, 250 cm standby 1. Now it is 220 cm of rain,” said Andi to CNNIndonesia.com, Monday (21/9).
Citing the official BMKG website, light to heavy rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds will fall around 19.00 in a number of areas in Central Jakarta such as Menteng and Tanah Abang.
In West Jakarta, it will rain on Kebon Jeruk. Then in South Jakarta, a number of areas that have fallen rain include Setiabudi and Kebayoran Lama.
A number of areas in Bogor Regency will receive the most rainfall including Cibinong, Citeureup, Sukaraja, Babakan Madang, Jonggol, Cariu, Sukamakmur, Kemang, Rumpin, Jasinga, Cigudeg, Klapanunggal, Ranca Bungur, and Leuwisadeng.
Then in the city of Bogor includes East Bogor, Central Bogor, North Bogor, Tanah Sareal, and its surroundings.
BMKG estimates that rain will spread and fall in West Jakarta areas such as Tambora, Grogol Petamburan, Taman Sari, Cengkareng, Kalideres, Pal Merah, and Kembangan. Then in Central Jakarta, namely in Gambir.
In the city of South Jakarta, the rain will also fall Tebet, Mampang Prapatan, Kebayoran Baru, Pesanggrahan. Next, there is the city of East Jakarta, namely Duren Sawit.
Finally, BMKG estimates that rain will fall in several areas of Tangerang City such as Cipondoh, Karang Tengah, Larangan, and surrounding areas. This condition is expected to continue until 21:00 WIB.
