TRIBUNNEWS.COM – The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has issued an early warning extreme weather tomorrow, Sunday (17/7/2022).
Be alert in 19 areas with the potential for heavy rain which can be accompanied by lightning and strong winds.
In addition, Bali has the potential for strong winds.
Quoted from the official page BMKGcyclonic circulation is observed in the north of West Papua which forms a meeting area and wind deceleration (convergence) in the waters north of West Papua, in West Papua, in Cendrawasih Bay, and in Papua.
Another area of convergence is observed extending across Aceh, from the western part of the Java Sea to Kep. Bangka-Belitung, in the eastern Java Sea, in central Sulawesi, from Maluku waters to Sulawesi waters, in the southern waters of Central Java to West Java, on the west coast of West Kalimantan, in Maluku, and in southern Papua.
This condition is able to increase the potential for rain cloud growth and increase the wave height around the cyclonic circulation and along the convergence area.

Then, Dry Air Intrusion from the Southern Hemisphere (BBS) crossed the eastern part of NTT, Banda Sea, southern Maluku, and Arafuru Sea which was able to lift wet water vapor in front of the intrusion boundary to become warmer and humid, namely in Southeast Sulawesi, Maluku, North Maluku, West Papua and Papua.
