“Maybe not all (symptoms) appear, but the most typical is the presence of visions such as smoke or fog. The symptoms that appear are not accompanied by pain or red eyes. So if the patient’s condition is mild, it’s comfortable,” he said.
It doesn’t stop there, cataracts also cause the patient’s refractive status to change. Doctor Andrew explained that the refractive status was related to the need for glasses as a viewing aid.
“It could be that those who previously didn’t wear glasses need glasses. Or those who have worn glasses have changed their size. That could also be a symptom of cataracts,” he said.
