Several rooms are already empty. There is still a cafe (which has already informed the parish that it will close), a restaurant on the mezzanine, a lottery, an optician and a natural products store. These last two points have a door to Rua XV de Novembro and will be less affected.
In practice, the building will no longer have the corridor that connects XV to Rua Getúlio Vargas. These corridor areas will be transformed into commercial rooms, says Paulo Ricardo da Silva, who manages the space, with entrances facing both roads.
