BlueFest s Larkin Poe and Walterem Troutem

Larkin Poe, or the singing and playing sisters of Rebecca and Megan Lovell, is dedicated to old school, country and blues-rock blues overlapping to pop waters. They will perfectly cut out the standard and the pop hit remake to an unrecognizable blues mood.

The guitars are accompanied by their significant Larkin layered vocals, accurate, with a blues patina, but at the same time rich in volume.

Foreign stars will also feature blues guitarist and singer Walter Trout, Southern Avenue and the British Wille and Bandits. Thanks to the collaboration with the Šumperk International Blues Alive Festival, American blues guitarist Kenny Brown or Chicago blues singer and guitarist and holder of more than thirty different music awards John Primer will perform on Thursday.

The Czech scene will be represented by Flamengo Reunion Session & Karel Kahovec, Peter Lipa, Ivan Hlas Trio, Dan Bárta, Tonya Graves, minus123 minutes, Olin Nejezchleba & Kybabu, Jan Spálený & ASPM, Vítkovo Kvarteto, The Atavists or members of the ETC group.

“This year, as part of the Prague International Bluenights project, concerts by Walter Trout, Larkin Poe and a concert by Beth Hart were to take place in the Lucerna Music Bar. Unfortunately, we were forced to postpone the dates of these concerts due to the global pandemic situation. However, I am glad that these stars will delight their fans with their performances before the concerts can be held again, at least in online form at this festival, “said Radim Svatoň, director of Liver Music.

“BlueFest Online has as its main goal to support the Czech music scene and at the same time to please fans of quality music in these difficult times. We consider the support of other cultural professions that will participate in the festival, as well as the support of foreign names, to be secondary goals. The goal is, of course, also to culturally enrich the arid music scene, to please not only blues spectators and to introduce blues to the general public, “explained Petr Pošvic on behalf of the festival.

“This year’s BlueFest Online festival will be broadcast for free, but if viewers want, they will have the opportunity to pay voluntary online admission and support the musicians and cultural workers who participate in the event,” he added.
