These doors that we dare not open
What’s behind these doors that we dare not open? What strange desires, denials or conditioning push some in the arms of a predator ? So many questions that underlie this strong work.
On stage, full of desire and life, the ghosts of Bluebeard’s women tell us how they were seduced, how they were trapped, how they couldn’t escape…
So, together, with humor and determination, they help and support each other to find spaces of resistanceovercome the fear of their Bluebeard, “this evil that hides in every woman and devours her with imperative blows”.
This collective creation explores the mysteries and dark parts of the tale of Perrault and reveal the domination relationships in our society.
