JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – The United States Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) announced a phenomenon blue supermoon which will happen on August 30, 2023.
Bosscha Observatory research staff, Agus Triono, explained that blue supermoon is the phenomenon of the full moon. Say supermoon pinned because the Moon looks bigger because the distance to Earth is closer.
“The apparent size of the current Moon supermoon later it will be around seven percent larger than the usual size for a full moon,” said Agus, Saturday (26/8/2023).

For those who want to witness it with the naked eye, Agus advises the public to find a place that is dark and free from light pollution.
“Better dark. Although, basically the full moon can be seen from anywhere as long as it is bright at that time,” he explained.
About viewing time blue supermoonAgus said that this phenomenon can be seen from 18.000 to 06.00 according to the time of each region.
