Blue spiral in the sky intrigues observers, but scientists explain the enigmatic phenomenon – News

Residents who looked up at the Hawaiian sky on the night of January 18 saw a strange apparition: a very visible blue spiral. What could it be? The bizarre phenomenon was captured by the Subaru Telescope on top of Mauna Kea Mountain.

For all the weirdness of the vision, scientists have a simple explanation for it: it’s the signature trail the launch of a SpaceX satellitespace technology company from the controversial billionaire Elon Musk.

“On January 18, 2023 (HST), the Subaru-Asahi Star Camera captured a mysterious flying spiral over Maunakea, Hawaii,” reported Japanese researchers responsible for the observatory, on Twitter.

On the day, SpaceX had launched into space a GPS satellite for the United States Armed Forces.

Last June, a similar sighting has been recorded in New Zealand, and the explanation was the same: it was the effect of launching a SpaceX satellite.

In 2017, when SpaceX was not so well known, a blue spiral in the sky left Russian residents very scared. REMEMBER BELOW!
