Police learned of a traffic accident on Saturday 15 October 2022 around 01.25. A car was reported to have driven through a roundabout. It is the “Hardt” roundabout between Neuershausen and Bötzingen.
On the spot, police found that the alleged driver of the car, a 55-year-old man, was apparently drunk, with an alcohol content of over 1.7. He was still at the crash site when the police arrived.
Law enforcement agencies are now investigating suspected road traffic hazards. Damaged both the driver’s car and the roundabout, estimated at several thousand euros, the man was taken a blood sample and was banned from continuing to drive.
