BLUE INVEST Board of Directors appoint Armand Riviere as Co-President

The Board of Directors of the economic development organization “BLUE INVEST” met this Tuesday, April 25 at the end of the day to look at the organization’s management situation.

As a result of the obstruction of the President of the Urban Community of Hérault Méditerranée Gilles d’ETTORE, the board of directors of BLUE INVEST noted that Mr. Armand RIVIERE took over as Co-President of the group, in his position as 1st. vice president of the Agglo Hérault Méditerranée.

The co-chairmanship of the BLUE INVEST group is now used by François Commeinhes and Armand Rivière.

There are 17 members on the BLUE INVEST board of directors:

Founders:

• Sète Agglopole Méditerranée (4 seats): François Commeinhes, Jean-Guy Majourel, Michel Arrouy, Florence Sanchez;
• Hérault Méditerranée (4 seats): Armand Rivière, Laurent Durban, Véronique Rey, Gilles d’Ettore.

Associate Members:

• CCI Hérault (2 seats): Katy Garcias, Olivier Ganivenq;
• Region Occitanie (2 seats): Sébastien Denaja, Christian Assaf.

College of Business (3 seats):

• HEXIS (Caroline Mateu), LOÏS Holding (Jérôme Cavailles), 1 unfilled seat.

College of certified legal entities (3 seats):

• Thau Basin Union, Sète Port South of France, Cap d’Agde Méditerranée Tourist Office.

Created at the end of 2021 at the initiative of the Agglos de Sète and Agde, the mission of the economic development group BLUE INVEST is to promote and organize the economic destination of Sète Cap d’Agde Méditerranée as well as support projects for the establishment and development of businesses in the area.

It has supported nearly 500 projects since its creation, representing the potential to create nearly 3,000 jobs.
