A boulder diamond 39.34 carat blue was sold at a price of US $ 40.18 million, or Rp. 582 billion. The blue diamond comes from the Cullinan diamond mine in South Africa.
The Cullinan Diamond Mine itself is famous for having a collection of historic, unique and special diamonds. They have produced some of the world’s most prominent diamonds, including the largest diamond (uncut diamond) ever found in history.
The blue diamond was bought by diamond company Diacore and the De Beers Group. These two diamond companies will design the blue diamond.

Usually blue diamonds are more expensive than white diamonds because of their rarity and intense color.
