For the second year in a row, the “Young Doctors” Association renews the application for funding for various educational projects with the aim of additional qualification in the field of medicine, such as: trainings, seminars, conferences, congresses, etc., in the country and abroad.
The regional college of the Bulgarian Medical Union in Burgas will support young doctors until the end of December 2024.
The condition is that they have graduated from medicine, but do not have acquired a specialty. The aid will be one-time and can only be used to support the participation of young specialists in a training course in the specific specialty in which they are enrolled. This was announced by Dr. Diyan Gospodinov, head of the intensive cardiology department in a large private hospital and vice-chairman of the youth section at the Regional Medical College.
The ranking of the candidates will be formed according to a described and specified point system.
The time frame for submission of documentation is from March 31, 2024 to April 30, 2024 (one month). The first ranking will be announced on May 1. There will be similar deadlines every month until the financing funds are exhausted or until the end of the calendar year. Anyone wishing to benefit from this funding can apply for a project that is within the framework of the whole year, regardless of when they submit their application.
