Joe Biden plans to give notice of his intention to run for a second term after the midterm elections to Congress, which will be held in November this year. The agency reports Bloomberg citing sources close to the US leader.
“The president said he plans to run again,” longtime aide Anita Dunn told the publication.
America’s current president is determined. According to the agency, he is optimistic in connection with the successes of recent weeks in economic policy, namely in stopping inflation and reducing gasoline prices. Biden believes that in 2020 he was nominated as a candidate for the post of head of state from the Democratic Party, since there was every chance of defeating Donald Trump, so the country’s leader believes that in two years the situation may repeat itself. Biden’s ratings remain relatively low, however, the president does not attach much importance to them.
