A police officer was bitten by an individual this Thursday, March 30, 2023 at the Lens police station in Pas-de-Calais.
Officers from the Lens police station arrested a recalcitrant young man on Thursday, March 30, 2023. The latter bit a police officer during his security search before being taken into custody.
The facts took place at the end of the morning after an intervention in a bar-tabac on avenue Alfred Maës, La Choppe d’Or. The manager alerted the police following a commercial dispute with an 18-year-old individual.
The policeman injured and transferred to the emergency room
When they arrive on the spot, the police discover an aggressive young man who begins to insult them. The arrest is complicated but the author is finally taken to the police station. As the security search begins, the respondent violently bites an official in the right wrist.
The agent has a bleeding wound and is transferred to the emergency room. Placed in police custody, the young man recognized the insults but denied the bite. A total of five police officers filed a complaint. The perpetrator will be summoned on June 9, 2023 to the Béthune court.
