A kernet with the initials G and a bus broker with the initials F got into a fight at the shadow terminal in Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta. The duel between kernet and bus brokers resulted in 1 person being stabbed.
Kapolsek Kebon Jeruk Kompol Slamet Riyadi explained that the incident occurred on Friday (29/10/2021), at around 19.30 WIB. It started when the victim was chatting with a female busker who was also a friend of the perpetrator.
“According to the perpetrator’s statement, the victim said harsh words to the buskers, so that the perpetrator reprimanded the victim, but was ignored,” said Kebon Jeruk police chief Kompol Slamet Riyadi to reporters, Thursday (11/11).
The two then bickered. They fight, until finally the culprit remove the badik.
“Between the perpetrator and the victim, they pushed each other. The perpetrator then took the badik which had been prepared at the waist,” he said.
The victim then suffered stab wounds to various parts of the body. There were at least five stab wounds suffered by the victim.
“There are wounds on the left abdomen, left arm, back wounds and wounds on the thumb and index finger which make the victim still being treated,” explained Slamet.
After carrying out the action, the perpetrator then run away. The perpetrator was arrested at Merak Terminal before he could escape to his hometown.
The perpetrators and the badik evidence were taken to the Kebon Jeruk Police. The perpetrator has now been named a suspect.
“Our perpetrators apply Article 351 of the Criminal Code with a penalty of five years in prison,” concluded Slamet.
