A bloody action lifted Asenovgrad into the air. There is one seriously injured person and miraculously there are no dead bodies.
The signal of a fierce clash in one of the city’s suburbs, during which shots were also heard, was received around 18:40 on Friday by telephone 112.
Patrols from the regional administration and additional teams from the Plovdiv “Specialized Police Force” sector were immediately directed there. After the situation was brought under control and public order was fully restored, it was clarified that the quarrel arose between two families.
One of the participants in the melee, shot by a firearm of unknown brand and caliber, was transported to hospital in danger of life.
During the operational actions, six men were arrested as accomplices, some of them with forensic evidence and sentenced. The case was reported to the prosecutor. The work to clarify all the facts and circumstances continues.
