I am a returnee and I don’t understand the caps.
1.) last week I was able to collect 1350 blood tokens, now when I look under currencies for the character it says the season maximum is 1900 – does that mean I can only collect 550 this week??
2.) similar with the conquest points – last week I was able to collect 1600 – now it says “season maximum 2200” – does that mean I can only collect 600 this week??

Yes, that’s exactly what it means. So that no one can gear up for “high-end” and so that PVP is not put into focus for PVE players, there are caps for everything. In PVE, too, there are caps for the emblems, which increase weekly.

I’m trying to understand why I can get 1600 one week and only 600 the next, that doesn’t make sense and there’s no system that can be seen, it was never like that when I played
You can collect a few tokens in 10 minutes and it would take 3 weeks to get a new part, that can’t be in Blizzard’s interest. If that’s true and what they want, there’s nothing keeping people like me in WoW. I do the PvE content on the side, just for fun (when you see what rewards you get for grinding, it’s also totally questionable, I do everything for the weekly treasure and end up with the best part, which is 3 points more than a standard item)
