The blood reserves of groups A+, 0+, 0- and B- are at a low level, which is why the Organ and Blood Supply Agency (ADOS) has urged citizens to donate.
In a statement, ADOS has explained that half of the blood groups have low levels, two of them, A- and B+, normal levels and two others, AB+ and AB-, have a good blood level.
Thus, they have remembered that approximately 500 blood donations are needed every day to be able to care for all the patients who need it.
For this reason, they make available to the population ten mobile donation units that visit the Galician town halls daily, and seven permanent donation locations in the main cities of Galicia.
Among the places where the mobile units will be found in the coming days are A Coruña, Santiago, Lugo, Ribadeo, Ourense, Xinzo, Vigo and Pontevedra, among others.
