Indeed, the health crisis strongly impacts the activity of the EFS (French blood establishment). Since March 2020, companies and universities have barely accepted blood drives due to the impacts of Covid-19 (teleworking, distance courses, health protocols, etc.).
“However, the need for transfusion remains important. The daily mobilization of donors is essential ”, insists on the side of the EFS.
In recent months, and to meet health obligations, mobile collections have only taken place by appointment. A change that donors

Donors can now also make an appointment online for their donation at the donation center. This Saturday, January 30, that of Lille, like all those of Hauts-de-France, are extending their hours from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. non-stop.
