After a vicious attack from Universal Champion Roman Reigns at the Road to WrestleMania live event at Madison Square Garden, Brock Lesnar opened up this week’s Smackdown and addressed the attack. The Beast Incarnate was pissed when he entered and also wanted to take Roman Reign’s blood.
Lesnar initially said Roman Reigns couldn’t change the game and then threw the WWE Championship from the ring calling out the Universal Champion. Paul Heyman then came out and said that Reigns was not preset on Smackdown, as Lesnar interrupted his former attorney and asked him to shut up.
Lesnar then said that if Roman Reigns were not present there would be no one to protect Paul Heyman and then went to the Special Counsel. Heyman ran backstage as Lesnar followed him by taking out the sentry. Heyman continued and jumped into a car and ran out of the building as Lesnar was disappointed that he was unable to catch up.
What could happen if Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns go head-to-head at WrestleMania 38?
Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns is scheduled to take place in the Main Event of the 38th edition of The Greatest Stage Of Them All, WrestleMania 38. The match will be a Winner Takes All “Championship Unification Match” which has upped the ante for the mega event.
However, some changes to the match could be seen if visionary Seth Rollins does not get a match confirmed for the event. It’s obvious that WWE will never want Rollins to be absent from the biggest stage of all, and if another match isn’t confirmed for him, Rollins could meddle in the main event of the Showcase of Immortals given his history and both Men.
