Blood drives continue

BLOOD. The need for blood products is always great, even in winter. This is why two blood drives will take place in the region over the next few weeks.

First, the Service d’intervention d’urgence civil du Québec (SIUCQ) invites the public to its blood drive to be held on Tuesday 1is February, between 1:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The collection will take place at the office located at 1425, rue des Trois-Maisons, in Drummondville. The objective of this event is to welcome 80 donors.

Afterwards, Club FADOQ Bon-Conseil will welcome citizens to the blood drive to be held on Tuesday, February 8, between 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. The collection will take place in the FADOQ room of the Léo-Paul Therrien Recreation Center located at 541, rue Ducharme in Notre-Dame-du-Bon-Conseil. Héma-Québec team members hope to welcome 60 donors.

In times of a pandemic, Héma-Québec is putting everything in place to continue to make blood donation a safe experience. Many measures are taken at all collection sites.

It is necessary to make an appointment before coming to the collection. Reserve your place online by creating a profile at: jedonne.hema-quebec.qc.ca/. You can also contact 1 800 343-7264 (SANG).
