The French Blood Establishment (EFS) invites donors on Friday May 27 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Kroas Saliou gymnasium in Plouzané. Winter epidemics and covid are still circulating, preventing many people from showing up for collections. “Blood supplies, to meet patient needs, are struggling to stabilize. Blood being irreplaceable, it is essential that the population continues to mobilize,” explains Rania Mattar.
Essential to thousands of patients
Whether they are people suffering from cancer, chronic illnesses or suffering from haemorrhages… Thousands of patients live or survive thanks to these donations. This is why the EFS calls on the population to donate blood by going to the Donation Centers and mobile collection sites in the region.
