L’French blood establishment invites donors to make an appointment on mon-rdv-dondesang.efs.sante.fr/or by calling 02 35 21 19 33. Scrupulously respect the rules of social distancing as well as barrier gestures. An approved mask will be given to you upon your arrival by the EFS teams.
Who can donate blood?
To donate blood, you must be between 18 and 70 years old. Very convenient, an online questionnaire allows you to assess your “eligibility”. By donating blood, you can save 3 lives. Red blood cells, plasma, platelets are separated, and the patient receives only the part he needs. Thanks to donors, one million people are treated each year. During blood collections, wearing a mask is not compulsory but remains highly recommended.. Donating blood is not painful and does not impact the health of the donor. A donor recently vaccinated against COVID-19 can donate blood, if the vaccine was made in Europe.
Where to give?
There are two possibilities to donate blood: go to the House of the Establishment Français du Sang, 75 rue Bernardin de Saint-Pierre in Le Havre (by appointment on 02 35 21 19 33), or join one mobile collections organized on the territory of the Urban Community (by appointment online).
