The donors responded well to the collection organized this Friday by the Amicale des Donneurs de Bénévoles de Gérardmer-Xonrupt. We note in particular a strong mobilization from the morning when locals and holidaymakers rushed to the Halle des Sports.
Indeed, on Friday morning alone, the balance sheet is 87 presented for 70 collected including 2 new Donors. “EFS was hoping for 50 in attendance and the collection team had been scheduled accordingly. She ensured despite being understaffed” specifies Françoise Didier, president of the Association of Volunteer Blood Donors. 7 people nevertheless left without being sampled.
In the afternoon, 108 donors showed up for 100 donations from 12 new donors. The EFS hoped for 100 present, objective achieved! Among the 195 presented during the day, there were a good twenty vacationers from various parts of France. “May all those who have made the effort to come be very sincerely thanked as well as the dedicated members of the committee” concludes Françoise Didier. The next collection will take place on Saturday April 16, the day before Easter, again at the Halle des Sports from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
