The association of voluntary blood donors of Montguyon organized last Friday, February 26, at the village hall of Saint-Martin-d’Ary, a blood drive by appointment to avoid the wait and thus respond to sanitary measures to be observed at this time. You therefore had to reserve your place via the Internet (on the site https://mon-rdv-dondesang.efs.sante.fr). At the entrance to the room, an EFS nurse was waiting for them, providing them with a new mask, hydroalcoholic gel and asking them a few quick questions. Once inside, a secretary registered the donors, two doctors checked their donation skills and three nurses took the samples.
Eighty-four people showed up that day, including a new donor, and 80 bags of blood were recovered. Meanwhile, the 12 dedicated volunteers provided a snack for the donors before they left.
It should be noted that the next blood donation will take place on April 23 from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in this same room.
