Based on a 5-day week, around 15,000 blood donations are needed every day in Germany to ensure the health system can be safely supplied with essential blood products. Empty blood donation beds can become a problem! Every blood donation currently counts!
The Red Cross is calling for blood donations in the coming days.

Donate blood? It’s that easy:
1. Reserve your desired date online and drink plenty of (non-alcoholic) fluids on the day of the donation
2. Registration on site by presenting your identity card
3. Completing the medical questionnaire
4. Short medical consultation and small laboratory test
5. Blood donation: collection of approx. 500ml of blood, takes only 5 to 10 minutes
6. Rest break and delicious snacks after the donation
