Bad Waldsee – 217 people were able to donate at the blood donation campaign on October 25th. Of these, eight people were deferred for health reasons, so that 209 blood banks could be filled. These included 15 people who donated blood for the first time.
At the blood donation campaign in May we had 296 people willing to donate. We would probably have come to this conclusion again, but it looked like the blood donation service did its personnel planning in the middle of the week. And on Wednesday we only had 164 online registrations. Due to illness and operational reasons, the number of collection teams was reduced to two and the capacity of 210 possible donations was exhausted.

Please book appointments early
Those responsible at the DRK ask you to book an appointment early, ideally a week in advance. This makes further planning easier and everyone gets a free donation date. If you are really unable to attend, you can easily cancel your appointment at any time, even on the same day.
Although the date was at the beginning of the autumn holidays, there was great interest.
