“Blood Donation Campaign Urges Germans to Donate Regularly: Upcoming Donation Dates in Neuwied and Surrounding Areas”

Unfortunately, 97 percent of the German population rely on the only three percent of their fellow citizens who regularly donate blood. Hence the appeal to you: Please donate blood regularly!

district of Neuwied. Only a continuous supply of blood donations makes it possible to help immediately. The advantages for every donor: You have a constant health check. Among other things, blood pressure and body temperature are measured. The blood is then examined for infections such as HIV, syphilis or hepatitis.

Requirements:

1. Age: 18 to 75 years (first donors up to 68),
2. Weight: over 50 kg,
3. Distance to previous blood donation: 56 days
4. Preparation: drink a good two liters and eat enough
5. Bring ID with you: for example ID card, driver’s license

So that the process can be better organized and the waiting times for those willing to donate can be kept as short as possible, we ask that you make an appointment.
