This first of September the donation campaign will be carried out at the Hospital Comunitario de las Joyas, in the city of León Guanajuato.
According to the authorities, blood donated by citizens is used for the care of patients undergoing cancer procedures, children with leukemia, pregnant women, trauma patients and those who need complex surgery that requires transfusion support.
Some of the requirements for those who wish to donate blood are: fasting, drink plenty of fluids, present a copy of CURP and INE, as well as weighing more than 50 kilos.
In addition, the authorities recommend that they be older than 18 years, not pregnant women, that they do not have tattoos, not piercings, not be consuming medicine, not surgeries among others.
It is worth mentioning that health personnel make an attentive invitation to the entire population in order to help people who require it.
