Blood Collection: Donors are present on Christmas Eve

The results are positive for the last blood collection organized by the Xonrupt/Gérardmer association, even if for this last meeting of the calendar year the initial objective was not fully achieved: in total, we had 86 donated on 90 expected and the EFS team was therefore happy with the result as very few were missing. 80 grants were collected, including 6 New Donors whom the association warmly thanks, as well as all the people who made the effort to come to the Multipurpose Hall of Xonrupt-Longemer. But as Sylvain Zanetti, Vise-President of the UD Vosges, Regional President and President of the Amicale de St Dié reminded us, this is not the time to relax with regard to blood donation, which remains an essential link in health for which the mobilization must remain strong and constant: “The question is extremely important as 2022 draws to a close. The health situation, in fact, is worrying at the level of blood donation. Fewer than 80,000 bags are available when more than 110,000 are needed… Our mobilization and actions are essential to find donors again and again. We are counting on you!”
