Within the framework of the blood collection day scheduled for Friday, June 16, specialists from the Institute of Hemotherapy of the province of Buenos Aires They held two awareness talks about the importance of donating blood for 5th and 6th year students of the College. Both the talks and the extraction session were coordinated by the CNLP Academic Secretariat and the prof. Paula Galasso of the Department of Biology and the Secretary of Extension.
The blood donation promotion team proposes with this initiative the reflection and awareness of young people about the importance of donating blood.
The day, in which the entire educational community of the School can participate in the condition of donating, will take place on Friday, June 16, between 8:00 and 12:00, in the Díaz Velazco classroom.
It is important to note that donating blood is a voluntary decision and that the only requirements are to be between 16 and 65 years of age, weigh more than 50 kilos, be in good health, have breakfast before donating, and present your National Identity Document.
