The blood drive organized in Firmi by the association of voluntary blood donors from Decazeville and its region and the EFS (French blood establishment) brought together 137 blood bags. There were 81 donors on Tuesday, 56 on Wednesday, including 3 first-time donors, very good attendance despite the heat and the holiday period.
“It is always pleasant to see new donors arrive. Thank you to all the participants and to the town hall of Firmi”, reports Anne-Marie Bousquet, member of the voluntary blood donors of Decazeville and its region.
Next collections for our sector: Wednesday August 17 in Lanuéjouls (village hall), from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.; Tuesday August 23, Rignac (Espace Jarlan), from 1 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.
Don’t hesitate to go to the next collections because blood supplies are low during this summer period.
