Thunderbolt to Bollaert! Relegated to third place in the standings after Ajaccio’s victory over Le Mans last night (2-0), RC Lens lost ground this afternoon at home to Stade Malherbe de Caen (1-4), and accused now seven points behind the Lorient leader, winner at Rodez on behalf of the 26th day of Ligue 2 (0-1).

It all started well for the Sang et Or, ahead of the scoreboard from the 11th minute thanks to Corentin Jean. But two penalties from Tchokounté (22nd) and Oniangué (31st) cooled the mood at halftime. The Norman duo once again stood out in the second act, with a new goal each (72nd, 74th). Meanwhile, it was the Michelin Nordist who was sent back to the locker room earlier than expected (73rd).
