The American band Blondie gets its own comic book: Blondie: Against The Odds. The book will be published in the autumn.
According to publisher Z2 Comics, who already shows the cover on Instagram, the comic book offers “an imaginative look at the history of the band, interspersed with artistic interpretations of ten songs from the catalog”.
Chris Stein and Deborah Harry founded Blondie in New York in the mid-1970s. The band had a worldwide breakthrough in 1978 with the hit Denis. This was followed by successes such as Heart Of Glass, de Buddy Holly-cover Hangin’ On The Telephone, Call Me, The Tide Is High in Rapture.
