JAKARTA – Almost two years of not being able to carry out free activities like before the Covid-19 pandemic, Jessica Mila often filled with a sense of longing to gather with his friends. As a result, in order to get rid of longing to hang out with her friends, Jessica often has virtual meetings with them.

“Because we rarely meet face-to-face, we are very diligent in meeting virtual through meeting applications. Zoom is usually normal. So if one of us needs to vent or there is something urgent that needs to be said, yes, we must Zoom,” said Jessica.

Including when celebrating Jessica’s 29th birthday on August 3, they could only meet face to face virtually. Even though they couldn’t meet in person, Jessica and her friends still felt happy.

“It’s quite healing, I really miss it because we can still talk from A to Z and share the fun,” said the artist who was busy filming a web series titled Tersanjung.

Not just chatting, Jessica’s gang also seems to often hold virtual events, such as having lunch together and even pretending to be in a salon.

“We like to hold events like that, starting from arranging virtual lunch meetings to playing salons. Moreover, I now have my own hair styling brand called Milittle Things. So, I often share about hairstyle contemporary, hair color, and others. People are always excited every time I share it because in my brand, apart from hair stylers, there are hair colorher too,” explained Jessica.

According to Jessica, by using these products, she no longer needs to go to the salon to style or color her hair. Even though extra effort is needed, the owner’s full name Jessica Mila Agnesia finds it helpful considering the current state of being wholly limited.

“Since all activities are still limited, what’s wrong with making more effort? Besides filling in confusion, adding skills, it’s also safer because you don’t have to leave the house and meet a lot of people,” said Jessica.
