After years of waiting and the occasional disappointment on the part of the fans, Blizzard released the Diablo IV beta this week, a title that will go down as one of the biggest releases of the year. During Blizzcon 2018, fans were impatiently awaiting the announcement of this title after a long wait since the release of Diablo III in 2012, a title that did not dazzle the players of the saga in the same way that the first two installments did. Unfortunately, the only thing they announced was a mobile version, Diablo Immortal, a game that received a barrage of criticism during its announcement.
This week some lucky ones have been able to try first hand what Blizzard has to offer with this title that seeks the redemption of the saga. In this installment, players must defeat Lilith, daughter of hate, a title she receives for being the daughter of Mephisto, Lord of Hate, a succubus from hell who is summoned on earth to conquer it.
The adventurers will Choose from five different classes the way you want to face your enemies. The mighty barbarian, with unparalleled strength, a class that features melee attacks and powerful shouts that provide combat benefits. A class whose power lies in their ability to take on animal aspects for the advantage in combat, the druid harnesses the power of earth, wind, and storm, unleashing the wrath of nature to devastating effect. A fearsome class that raises the dead to wield weapons in their name and prevails over their rivals, the Necromancers channel their essence, drawing on bone, blood, and shadow for their power. The rogue, an agile fighter who prioritizes speed and precision of his attacks over strength, close and long range fighters who use potent poisons to break the will and strength of his enemies. And finally, the sorcerer, a class that masters the elements around us with precision, allowing him to fire lightning bolts at his enemies or impale them with powerful ice spikes.
Like the other titles in the series, Diablo IV is a third-person action role-playing game with an isometric view. This title will have multiplayer featureswhich will include fighting against strong world bosses, trading with other players or the possibility of entering PvP (Player vs. Player) zones to test the skills you have acquired during your long journey.
Before playing this title, it is essential to warn you that it consists of a massive grinding game, which means that we must be prepared to sit down and forget about the clock completely. As soon as we take the reins of our character, the immersion of the game and the entertainment of its gameplay will mean that we cannot think of anything other than dedicating more hours to be able to advance a little more.
The release date of this title is June 6 of this year, so if you have been able to try it, congratulations. Otherwise, you will have to wait almost three more months to get your hands on the latest from Blizzard and return to the lands of Sanctuary to once again defeat the evils of hell.
