Last week, players discovered a loophole in Diablo IV that allowed them to transfer their main character to the seasonal world, which is not possible under normal conditions. Blizzard has already fixed the problem and began to punish violators.
Recall that to activate the bug, you had to disconnect from the Internet and then boot back into the seasonal world to your friend as an “eternal” character. Fans believed that in this way they could incur the wrath of Blizzard, and they did not lose.
Head of Community Affairs Adam Fletcher on the Official Blizzard Forums confirmedthat company “took action against some of the accounts associated with this incident.”
In other words, Blizzard suspended the accounts of some particularly cunning players who exploited the vulnerability. The initiative was also confirmed by the forum participants Redditwhose ban was received by careless comrades.
As for the issue itself, the ability to transfer your primary character from the Eternal World to the Seasonal World has been addressed by Diablo IV developers in one of their recent hotfixes.
