Blizzard Arcade Collection Gets Two Free Games Added to Lineup

The Blizzard Arcade Collection featured three great games when it launched on Blackthorne, The Lost Vikings and Rock N Roll Racing, with the games getting definitive editions and RNR getting an HD update and a remade soundtrack to really kick some ass. However, it felt like a somewhat incomplete collection as both TLV and RNR had sequels. Now Blizzard has updated the game to include those games. Both Lost Vikings II and RPM Racing are now part of the collection. These are the original 16-bit games and they don’t have any remastering, but maybe we’ll see that happen in the future. Either way, it takes what was already a good deal in terms of sheer quality and turns it into better value for money.

The extras have been expanded with new design documents and the RNR Definition Edition has a streaming mode with licensed MIDI versions of the OST. This collection is a must have for anyone who has loved RC Pro-Am on the NES as RNR is a revamped take on that with an amazing soundtrack, while fans of action platformers will enjoy Blackthorne and fans of platformers. puzzle gamers will enjoy both Lost Vikings games. You can collect the collection on the Switch or on PC as part of the Battle.net Celebration Collections,
