Zapping But! Football Club ASSE: the 10 biggest sales in history
ASSE will not be bought by David Blitzer. A little over a week ago, a relative of the shareholders of the Forézien club declared that the negotiations with the American billionaire had ended. To the chagrin of the Greens supporters, the sale of their club is therefore once again postponed.
Saint-Etienne fans could have it even worse in the coming months. While their favorite team will be fighting all next season in Ligue 2, Romain Molina makes it known that this same Blitzer group could be interested in another French club than ASSE!
“They (the shareholders) are convinced to go up immediately, and that their club is worth a lot of money (for them)”, thus slipped the investigative journalist whose remarks are relayed by the excellent account Sainté Inside. As a reminder, OM and FC Nantes are the most cited French clubs for a possible handover.
🚨 Redemption of the#ASSE by Blitzer failed.
“They (the shareholders) are convinced to come back immediately, and that their club is worth a lot of money (to them).”
The Blitzer group would already have other requests from French clubs…

to summarize
After seeing his takeover attempt fail at AS Saint-Étienne, David Blitzer would not dismantle himself. The American billionaire would even have the idea of betting on another French club! Faith of Romain Molina.
