If you are in the area, it promises to be an unforgettable evening! Thursday, August 11, 2022, at the Gourmet Wasteland of Marcq-en-Barœul, near Lille (North)a blind test party is organized. If you feel like it, you can even put on a disguise to stay in the mood for this crazy event.
A round of shots for the winners
It is surely one of the calmest weeks of the year. The cities have emptied and half of the businesses are closed. But fortunately, we can always count on some die-hards to liven up our summer evenings. In Marcq-en-Baroeul, the Friche Gourmande team has planned a great program throughout the month of August.
And this Thursday, you have an appointment for a completely crazy blind test. At the helm of the event, we find Claudy, a real troublemaker and talented ambiancer. It was he who already provided the atmosphere on the evening of July 14 at La Friche. After a short summer break, he is back in better shape than ever with his mysterious playlists.
You will have to revise your classics of French song if you hope to be crowned the big winner of the evening. The winners will be entitled to a free round of shots. And to put you in the delirious atmosphere, you can put on some absurd accessories such as wigs, hats and other headgear.
And as always at La Friche, you can treat yourself to the four restaurants present: Comptoir Volant and its burgers, Davonn and its Thai culinary creations, Oh Naan which offers naans garnished with vegetables, sauces and meats, as well as the tapas of the ‘Appetizer.
