Prime Minister Kiril Petkov and his deputy Asen Vassilev were spotted by a BLIC man at a secret dinner at an elite restaurant in Sofia. The two ate selected candlelit dishes and quietly discussed hot topics in the country, which is incredibly lucky to rule.
Their meeting comes hours after the fiasco of the Ministry of Interior the arrest of former Prime Minister Boyko Borissov, Vladislav Goranov and Sevdalina Arnaudova.
By order of Kiril Petkov and Boyko Rashkov, the three were detained for 24 hours, but then it became clear that they were only witnesses in a blackmail investigation against Vasil Bozhkov.
After it turned out that the actions of the Interior Ministry were the result of a crisis PR, Petkov was forced to explain that the prosecutor’s office was to blame.
However, it was clear from Borissov’s words that his arrest had been discussed between Petkov and Vassilev.
In the restaurant where they were spotted by BLIC, the two statesmen had tense faces, but still made a rich gourmet feast.
