According to the agency, this clearly shows that the Italian teenager, who may become the patron of the Internet in the future, also loved animals. It was very much in the spirit of Saint Francis, in whose hometown he was buried and now declared blessed.
The mother of the boy, who died in 2006 at the age of 15, spoke to AFP about the dog Billy, belonging to her sister. “Carlo never got to see him. Before his death, he told me that he would give me a sign of his existence also after death. And actually, as soon as he died my sister called me saying that today “in a dream I saw Carl holding Billy in his hands.”
