Defending champion Remco Evenepoel celebrated his first victory of the day on the third stage of the Vuelta a Espana.
The former Belgian world champion won the mountain finish in Arinsal after 159 kilometers ahead of Tour de France winner Jonas Vingegaard.
However, Evenepoel had to be treated afterwards because he collided with a journalist after crossing the finish line and suffered a cut on his face. The 23-year-old also took the lead in the overall classification.
