The championship title of Blau Weiß Linz in the 2nd soccer league is taking on more and more concrete forms.
The Upper Austrians, who were not eligible for promotion, fought 2-1 on Friday evening at the bottom of the league SV Horn, left the field as winners for the ninth time in a row and kept their first rival FC Liefering five points away. The “young bulls”, who are also not allowed into the upper house and played one game less, won 3-0 at Kapfenberger SV.
So everything continues to indicate that there will be no fixed promoters in the Bundesliga this year. Clubs willing to climb must land in the first two places in order to save themselves a relegation against the bottom of the Bundesliga. The third SV Lafnitz, who will only appear at Vorwärts Steyr on Sunday, has not applied for a Bundesliga license either. The evening game between fourth Austria Klagenfurt and fifth Wacker Innsbruck in Tyrol was eagerly awaited. Klagenfurt was six points short of Liefering before the duel, Wacker eight.
First new addition: Lafnitz makes use of the competition

Liefering is also continuing its successful run
For Liefering, Alexander Prass (27th) met first, before Benjamin Sesko cleared everything with a double (72nd, 93rd). The Salzburg “farm team” is now eight games undefeated and has won six times.
The GAK did not get more than 1: 1 at home against Rapids team of two. The duel between the Young Violets Austria Wien and SKU Amstetten ended with this result. The FAC gained air in the relegation battle with a 1-0 home win against Austria Lustenau.
