Former FIFA president Sepp Blatter considers it a mistake World Cup 2022 in Qatar.
“This is a mistake. Football and the World Cup are too big for this country. I am responsible for this choice, because I was president of FIFA at the time. But the story cannot be changed,” said Blatter.
The former FIFA president also said that the 2022 World Cup would be held in the United States, four years after the World Cup in Russia.
“The organization by these countries of two World Cups in a row would be a gesture of peace between two political opponents,” said Blatter.
