Kochi: Kerala Blasters won against FC Goa in ISL. The Blasters will win against FC Goa after six years. The Blasters won by three goals to one in Kochi, their home ground. Adrian Luna, Dimitrios Diamantakos and Ivan Kaliushni scored for the Blasters, while Rahul KP’s good performance was instrumental in the Blasters victory. Two of the goals scored by the team had Rahul’s signature.
Adrian Luna and Diamanticos scored in the first half and Ivan Kalyushnyi scored for the Blasters in the second half.
The blasters were firing from the first whistle. Back in the top eleven, Sahl had threatened the Goan box early. But slowly Goa also came to attack. In the first half, the Blasters narrowly escaped the advances of Edu Bedia and their former star Vasquez and his team.
At the end of the first half, the hosts were able to celebrate the goal: in the 42nd minute, Sahal entered Govan’s box and scored a pass when Luna was the only goalkeeper in front. Diamanticos scored a penalty for a foul on Anwar Ali inside the box. The Blasters went into halftime with a 2-0 lead.

With this, somehow, the Goans started trying to recover a goal: in the 67th minute, Sadaoui scored a goal. With the win, Blasters moved up to fifth place with nine points in six games. Goa with the same number of points is in fourth place.
