Blasphemous II appeared on the Nintendo Switch last Thursday. This was then celebrated with a launch trailer. Now that the game has been out for a few days, the YouTube channel Handheld Players has uploaded an extensive gameplay video of over 34 minutes. Blasphemous II picks up where the free DLC called Wounds of Eventide from the first part left off. In it, the heart in the sky heralded the return of the miracle, and even predicted the birth of a new miracle child. In the second part of this fiercely religion-inspired metroidvania, you once again assume the role of The Penitent One. He awakens in a place far from his final resting place, where another cycle of life, death and resurrection awaits him. Customize your skillset, find new weapons and unforgivingly pass judgment on gruesome foes.
