Blade – we know the first details of the new Arkane game. We’ll have to wait for the premiere

Blade is the latest production by Arkane Lyon, the creators of Deathloop and the Dishonored series, which will be intended for a single player and will be implemented from a third-person perspective. The developers plan to deliver an original story with rich narrative and addictive gameplay.

Marvel’s Blade will take us to a part of Paris under quarantine – the city is terrorized by vampires who force the inhabitants to hide after dark and anxiously wait for the sunrise. The vampire hunter will have his hands full.

From the coat to the iconic sunglasses, Blade is an elegant, stylish and determined character. This project is the perfect opportunity to take Arkane’s art style into even more modern and bold territory. The essence of our work is to combine influential ideas and innovative know-how, emphasized Sebastien Mitton, co-creator and artistic director of Arkane Lyon.

So far, we have no details about the possible release date or platforms on which we can expect Blade, but it is worth noting that the mentions of “start of work on the game” may suggest that we will have to wait a long time for the debut. It is also unknown whether Bethesda and Microsoft will decide to release the game only on Xbox and PC.

Dinga Bakaba, the game’s director, in his latest post on social media thanked players for their support and the great reception of the Blade announcement – the entire team is extremely excited about this project. The developer promises that the studio will create a title set “in a crazy version of Paris.”
